Upon entering town continue along Route 135 until you reach your second stop sign. This is Elk Avenue, take a right at this four way stop sign and continue down 3 blocks. Once you reach Ninth St, on your left you will see the blue home with blue trim nestled behind the pine trees. Walking through the pine trees you will see the covered entryway to the front door. The lockbox is to the left of the front door.
The access code will be received on the day of check-in and is to be used on the lockbox at the front door.

Off-street parking is available from the alley behind the house.
The west (closest to Mt. Crested Butte) garage door is available for your use. Please do not use the other side. There is also an plowed space to the left of the garage for parking a second vehicle.
You can open the garage door from the keypad next to the other garage door. Press 2424 and “open”. If it is very cold outside, you might have to press open twice. The garage is heated and monitored by the alarm system.
Please make sure that the garage door remains closed except while entering or exiting the garage. If it is left open in winter, the temperature will drop and eventually set off the alarm in your house.
The gas fireplace has an on/off switch on the front lower right.
There is no thermostat.
Please do not leave it on unattended.
The backyard hot tub is available for your use.
Please do not use the hot tub after 10 pm.
The tub is shared with the neighbors at 903 and 905 Elk Ave. Please do not turn the temperature below 100 degrees. No glass is allowed around the tub. There are plastic glasses in the kitchen. Hot Tub safety rules are posted by the back door.
The Emergency shut off is located in the flower bed nearest 901 Elk Avenue primary bedroom.

A bus stop is located at the 4 way intersection. Walk out of the home and turn right to head up Elk Avenue. Walk 3 blocks, approximately 5minutes up to the 4 way intersection. Take a right at this intersection passing the Visitors Center on your right, the next building is the 4 way bus stop. There is heated indoor space with restrooms to wait for the bus.
Summer buses run every 20 minutes starting at 7:41 am from the four way. This is a great way to get up to Mount Crested Butte.
To head to the top of Elk Ave, take the bus on the opposite side of the street. There is a bus only lane pull off adjacent to the 4 way.
The last bus up from the 4-way stop is at 11:41 pm.
This is the best way to quickly get to the Resort Ski Area. Departs the 4way stop every 15 minutes from 7:15 AM to 11:45pm.
To head to the top of Elk Ave, take the bus on the opposite side of the street. There is a bus only lane pull off adjacent to the 4 way. The bus runs every 15 minutes and arrives on the :07, :22, :37, & :52.

Living Room TV: gives access to your favorite streaming Services.
Bedroom TV: gives access to streaming through the Apple TV.
Washer and dryer are located in the room just beyond the entryway. The laundry room is just behind this door.
Bins for both are in the storage area on the front porch. The trash has a bear-resistant latch. Please break down any cardboard boxes. No plastic bags are allowed in the recycling bin.
Please check out of your vacation rental before or no later than 10:00 am. It’s helpful for our team if you can message or call us when you’ve departed. Please make sure to secure all windows and doors and turn off all lights and electrical devices. Want to be an exemplary guest? Please place trash in the bin, gather dishes and load them in the dishwasher, and return any furniture to its’ original location.
