Whether you’re arriving for a winter ski weekend or a summer escape, here’s a flexible 3-day plan featuring local favorites, mountain adventure, and time to unwind.

Day 1 — Settle In & Hit the Slopes

8:00 am — Coffee in Downtown Crested Butte

Up before the lifts start spinning? Ride the FREE Mountain Express into town and grab a cup from Camp 4 Coffee — a local staple and some of the best coffee in the entire valley.

10:00 am — First Day on the Mountain

Strap into your boots and head out for a full day of skiing or riding. Whether you’re sticking to the groomers or exploring the legendary steeps, Crested Butte has terrain for everyone.

1:00 pm — Lunch On-Mountain or at the Base

For a sit-down break, roll into José’s at the Elevation Hotel, featuring chef-crafted Guadalajara-inspired dishes.
Prefer a slopeside option? Ski to Paradise on Crested Butte, located at the base of Paradise Lift.

2:30 pm — Afternoon Adventure

5:00 pm — Apres & Dinner on Elk Avenue

Make your way into historic downtown for après drinks followed by dinner at Elk Avenue Prime — one of the top steakhouses in Crested Butte.

Day 2 — Snowmobile, Explore Downtown, & Local Dining

8:00 am — Breakfast at McGill’s

Fuel up at McGill’s, a downtown favorite known for hearty breakfasts and classic diner comfort.

10:00 am — Snowmobiling with Action Adventures

Suit up for a guided snowmobile trip with Action Adventures. They’ll take you deep into snow-covered mountains and peaceful forest terrain — a memorable Colorado backcountry experience.

1:30 pm — Warm Up at Pitas in Paradise

Head to Pitas in Paradise for fresh, homemade soups and Mediterranean favorites — perfect after a cold morning on the trail.

3:00 pm — Self-Guided Historic Walking Tour

Stroll through the town’s colorful historic district and learn how Crested Butte evolved from a mining settlement to the beloved mountain destination it is today. Pick up a walking-tour map at the Chamber of Commerce (Elk & 6th).

6:30 pm — Family-Style Dinner at Slogar’s

End Day 2 with a classic: Slogar’s famous fried chicken dinner, complete with honey-butter biscuits and an array of house-made sides. A CB tradition since 1912.

Day 3 — Ski, Spa, & One More Amazing Meal

8:00 am — Breakfast at Butte Bagels

Stop by Butte Bagels for freshly baked bagels and handcrafted sandwiches — a hidden gem tucked beside the Crested Butte Post Office.

10:30 am — Last Runs of the Trip

Head back to the mountain for your final morning of turns — chase soft snow, groomers, or whatever you’ve been loving the most.

12:30 pm — Pizza at The Secret Stash

Grab lunch at The Secret Stash, home of Crested Butte’s most creative pizzas. Don’t skip the Notorious F.I.G. — it’s famous for a reason.

2:30 pm — Spa or Base Area Fun

Wind down at the Elevation Spa with a massage or facial…
