Welcome!

Skyview #04

  • Once you’ve meandered down Castle Road, look for the uphill driveway on your left.

  • Your place is the farthest on the right — the first garage you come to is it!

  • Use the entry code texted to you on the day of arrival on the electronic lock located to the left of the garage. For easy garage access, there’s a clicker on a yellow lanyard hanging inside the garage near the manual open button.

Fireplace

There’s a gas fireplace in the living room that’s perfect for cozy evenings. It’s operated by a remote located in the bowl on the coffee table. While the remote has several settings, the easiest way to use it is to simply power the fireplace on and off using the top-left button on the circular control in the center of the remote.

Enjoy!

Grill

There’s a gas grill stored in the garage. Feel free to wheel it outside for cooking, and please return it to the garage once it has cooled.

Laundry

There is a private full-size washer and dryer located in the garage.

Trash and Recycling

Trash and recycling receptacles are located in the garage. We ask that all trash be bagged before placing it in the bin — please don’t put loose items directly into the trash cans.

Recycling should not be bagged, as bagging contaminates the recycling process.

Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!

Summer: Tips for Staying Cool!

Open the windows at night

Because of our high altitude and dry climate, the nights in southern Colorado tend to drop dramatically, typically falling below 60 degrees even in the height of a hot summer.  Opening windows on at least two sides of your house at night will create a cross breeze that will cool the house when the sun is down.

Close blinds during the day

While the sun can be a delightful source of natural light, it also heats your house as it filters through your glass windows. Closing blinds during the day will help to keep your house from getting too hot during the daytime.

Please depart by 10:00 AM unless you’ve received prior approval.

Before you go, kindly:

  • Turn off all lights and appliances

  • Close and lock all windows and doors

  • MAKE SURE TO RETURN GARAGE DOOR OPENER TO GARAGE COAT HOOK

That’s it — safe travels and thanks for staying with us!
