To keep our STR license in good standing with the Town of Mount Crested Butte, we’re required to share a few important docs with you:

  • [Self-Compliance Affidavit]
    We’ve signed this to confirm we’re following all town rules for short-term rentals. The town inspects and monitors compliance, and violations could result in fines or license suspension.

  • [Good Neighbor Policy]
    This one’s important — it covers things like noise, trash, and parking. Guests are required to follow these rules during their stay. Noncompliance can result in fines or loss of the rental license.

  • [STR License Certificate] Posted in Condo
    Proof that our property is officially licensed for short-term rentals.

    Who to call if something unexpected comes up during your stay.

Parking is by permit only. You’ll find two permits inside the condo—please keep them on your dashboard while you’re visiting. One vehicle may park in the garage, and one vehicle may park outside in the designated spots across from the garages (parallel parking only).

During the winter months, we also ask that you shuffle cars into already-plowed spaces after a storm. That way, our crew can come back through and clear the spaces that were blocked the first time. It helps keep things tidy (and saves you from climbing over snowbanks).

Trash dumpsters are located at the north end of the lot as you enter the complex.

BASE AREA:

For ease of travel to the base area, First Tracks is an on demand free shuttle service. You may request free rides within Mt. Crested Butte. Request rides using the First Tracks app (Google app, Apple app) or call (970)713-4070. They operate 7:15am-12:15am daily.

TOWN:

A bus stop is located about a 3 minute walk down the road, in front of the Mountain Sunrise complex. Continue down Marcellina Lane from Morning Glory way. You will see bus stop signage on your left as you approach Mountain Sunrise.

Summer Bus Schedule

Summer buses run every 20 minutes starting at 8:00 am from the transit center.  This is a great way to get to the Town of Crested Butte.

The last bus up from the 4-way stop is at 11:41 pm.

Winter Bus Schedule

This is the best way to quickly get to the Resort Ski Area. Departs Mountaineer Square every 15 minutes from 8:00 AM to 10:30 am and 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Buses will run every 30 minutes outside of these time frames. The Condo Express bus begins at 11:00 PM and runs until 12:00 AM. More details here.

The last bus to the Base Area from your stop is 10:46 pm.

The hot tub is located near the lot entrance on your left when exiting your condo.

Washer and dryer are located in the garage.

Please depart by 10:00 AM unless you’ve received prior approval.

Before you go, kindly:

  • Turn off all lights and appliances

  • Close and lock all windows and doors
