FAQs

11 Crested Mountain Lane, Mt. Crested Butte CO 81225

Once you have arrived in Mount Crested Butte, continue 1 mile up the mountain toward the Resort. Just past the main base area, you’ll turn right onto Treasury Road. Follow this until you aren’t able to go further, and you can turn left on Crested Mountain Lane. Up a very short steep hill, take your first immediate left and follow the wrap around driveway to the L Building.

Building Entrance Code 2017#

Upon entering Building L through both double glass doors, take a left and continue down the hallway to the last door on your right.  Use stairwell 1 and continue up two flights of stairs.  You will see L1 door at the top of the landing with the metal shoe rack outside the door.

The condo is protected by a water leak detection system tied into the security system. If water is detected under a sink or behind a toilet, an alarm will sound within the condo. The access panel for this is located by the front door of the condo. You can disarm the alarm by typing 1234 twice in a row to silence and contact management at (970) 349-2449.

In the event that it turns off the water, there is also a water reset button accessible on the security system keyboard.

Parking is by permit only. There are two permits waiting for you in the condo.  Both vehicles must be parked in the outside lot.  Garage access is given available for storage of all your recreational equipment, only.  In an effort to maximize parking spaces during the winter months, we are asking that you move your vehicles to plowed spaces. This will allow us to clean out those spaces that were occupied when we plowed last.

Open the windows at night

Because of our high altitude and dry climate, the nights in southern Colorado tend to drop dramatically, typically falling below 60 degrees even in the height of a hot summer.  Opening windows on at least two sides of your house at night will create a cross breeze that will cool the house when the sun is down.

Close blinds during the day

While the sun can be a delightful source of natural light, it also heats your house as it filters through your glass windows. Closing blinds during the day will help to keep your house from getting too hot during the daytime.

The hot tub is located just in front of the L building outdoor parking.  The hot tub code is 2017.  There is also a communal gas grill if needed, but you have one on your private deck as well.

*IMPORTANT HOT TUB UPDATE*

The hot tub will be closed for the off-season September 30th-November 27th.

Garage access is given available for storage of all your recreational equipment, only. No vehicles please. The garage code is 2661.

The fireplace is operated by a small black remote.  It should be on the coffee table in the condo.

TVs give access to cable channels. Turn the cable box and TV on separately.

*****TV INFORMATION*****
