We’re so glad you’re here. We hope you enjoy this condo as much as we do! One of the best parts of this spot is how close it is to everything — mountain biking, hiking, wildflower strolls, the base area, fat biking, and of course, skiing.
We’ve stocked the place to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You’ll find:
A full kitchen setup (including a high-altitude baking cookbook for your mountain creations!)
A hiking and wildflower ID guidebook to help you explore the trails
A small book collection upstairs in the loft (feel free to borrow or swap if you finish one)
Games and puzzles in the closet off the kitchen for cozy nights in
If you notice anything missing, no worries — just let the property management company know and we’ll be sure to replace it.
Parking is by permit only. You’ll find one permit on a yellow lanyard waiting for you inside the condo. Please be sure to return it before you head out at the end of your stay so the next guest is covered.
In the winter months, we do ask that you move your vehicle into already-plowed spaces when you can. This helps us get to the spots that were blocked during the first pass and keeps the lot clear for everyone. Thanks for helping us keep the snow under control!
TOWN
The bus stop to go into town is located in the base area. From your complex exit the parking lot and head down Crested Mountain Lane. At the end of the lane cross the street and you will see grated stairs going down to the bus loop. At the end of the stairs take a left and you will see the benches along the stone wall. Here is where there will be a colorfully painted bus labeled “TOWN”. This is the Mountaineer Square stop.
Summer buses run every 20 minutes starting at 8:00 am from the transit center. This is a great way to get to the Town of Crested Butte.
The last bus up from the 4-way stop is at 11:41 pm.
This is the best way to quickly get to the Resort Ski Area. Departs Mountaineer Square every 15 minutes from 8:00 AM to 10:30 am and 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Buses will run every 30 minutes outside of these time frames. The Condo Express bus begins at 11:00 PM and runs until 12:00 AM. More details here.
In town later than you thought?
LATE NIGHT TOWN TAXI beginning at 10:00pm from town for fare: (970) 209-0509
There’s a cozy gas fireplace located at the bottom of the stairwell. It’s controlled by the thermostat right where the entry hall meets the kitchen — just set it to a temperature above the current room temp and enjoy the warmth. Perfect for those crisp mountain evenings!
.
Pull both ends of the table apart and you’ll find a leaf in the middle — perfect for spreading out a little more at mealtime or when you’ve got extra company around the table.
All of the TVs are smart TVs, so you can easily log in to your favorite apps like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+. You can also stream music through your Spotify account for some mountain-time playlists. For a little throwback entertainment, there’s a DVD player in the living room and a big stack of DVDs to choose from.
You’ll find the hot tub and grill along the stairs on your way to and from the condo — a perfect spot to relax after a day of adventures.
Just a heads-up: the hot tub does have seasonal closures during quieter times of the year to help with energy savings.
Right across from the entry door, you’ll find a handy closet just for your use. It’s the perfect spot to stash skis, boards, boots, bikes, or any other outdoor gear so you can keep the living space comfy and clutter-free.
Dumpsters are conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs in the parking lot. Please help us keep things tidy by securing the lids after use — the local critters thank you!
Keeping Cool the CB Way
Open the windows at night
Thanks to our high altitude and dry mountain climate, evenings in southern Colorado cool off fast — usually dipping below 60°, even in the middle of summer. Cracking windows on at least two sides of the condo will create a refreshing cross-breeze and naturally cool things down while you sleep.
Close the blinds during the day
That gorgeous Colorado sunshine can also turn into a heater when it streams through the windows. Closing the blinds during the day helps keep the condo comfortable so you can enjoy the light without the extra heat.
