Parking is by permit only. There is one permit in the condo for you to display on your dashboard while visiting. Parking is any unrestricted available space in the lot directly in front of the condo. To maximize the outdoor parking spaces during the winter months, we are asking that you move your vehicles to plowed spaces. This will allow us to clean out those spaces that were occupied when we plowed last.

Please do NOT pull the handle. Spin the cabinet around. The bed will be visible and will easily fold out.

Don’t want to lug all your gear up to the condo? Great! There’s a slopeside ski locker available for Axtell guests. If you’re standing on the slopes, it’s located in the stairwell farthest to the right (pictured below).

Enjoy the easy access!

TV’s give access to cable and streaming services. For cable use the Spectrum remote and insure input is HDMI1. For streaming use the Samsung remote.

Washer and dryer are located in the bedroom closet.

The hot tub and grill are located on the mountain side of the building (slope side), above the clinic.

Just a heads up — the hot tub stays locked during your visit. When you’re ready for a soak, simply unlock it, flip the cover off, and then pop the cover back on and lock it up again when you’re done. Easy peasy, hot-tub squeezy. 😄

For the infrared communal grill, just turn on the gas and hit the ignition button to get it going.

Amenity Notes:
Hot tubs, pools, and other shared amenities may be closed or locked at any time for maintenance, repairs, or safety reasons. Many amenities also have limited hours or seasonal closures. Glass, food, and smoking are not permitted, and children must be supervised by an adult.

Open the windows at night

Because of our high altitude and dry climate, the nights in southern Colorado tend to drop dramatically, typically falling below 60 degrees even in the height of a hot summer.  Opening windows on at least two sides of your house at night will create a cross breeze that will cool the house when the sun is down.

Close blinds during the day

While the sun can be a delightful source of natural light, it also heats your house as it filters through your glass windows. Closing blinds during the day will help to keep your house from getting too hot during the daytime.

A bus stop is located in the base area. From your building, exit out on the mountain facing side of the building. Continue upslope until you reach CB Mountain Outfitters. Take a left here and continue walking straight through the breezeway. Turn right after exiting the breezeway, passing A Bar Above. Here the Mountain Express Shuttle will be labeled with TOWN. This is the Moutaineer Square stop.

To keep our STR license in good standing with the Town of Mount Crested Butte, we’re required to share a few important docs with you:

  • [Self-Compliance-Affidavit]
We’ve signed this to confirm we’re following all town rules for short-term rentals. The town inspects and monitors compliance, and violations could result in fines or license suspension.

  • [Good Neighbor Policy]
This one’s important — it covers things like noise, trash, and parking. Guests are required to follow these rules during their stay. Noncompliance can result in fines or loss of the rental license.

  • [STR License Certificate] Posted in Condo
Proof that our property is officially licensed for short-term rentals.
