Welcome!

Evergreen #07

  • Once you see the building with the green roof, take the driveway on your left leading to the back of the building to unload.

  • After parking in the back upper lot, take the door on the right side of the building. Take the stairs immediately on your left.

  • Go up one level until you see 5-8 posted on the wall. At the landing, you’ll see a brown door. Go through this door for access to Condos 5-8.

  • Continue down the hallway toward the Sauna sign.

  • Go right at the sauna sign down your final hallway to the condo entrance.

  • The first #7 door that you approach will be on your right. It is a storage closet for the owner but also serves as a guest gear storage if you’d like to utilize. Keep going to the next door for the condo entrance.

  • Here is the front door; you’ve arrived! Wake up your lock by touching and holding your finger to the "card" symbol. The keypad will then light up to display numbers.

Parking is by permit only. There are two permits waiting for you in the condo. If you have two vehicles, please park one in the back lower lot off Emmons Rd and one in the front upper lot. Only one vehicle may park in the front upper lot. If your vehicle has a rear mounted bicycle rack, it must be parked in the front lot. In an effort to maximize parking spaces during the winter months, we are asking that you move your vehicles to plowed spaces. This will allow us to clean out those spaces that were occupied when we plowed last.

The Sauna is located just down the hall from your unit, on your right. The hot tub and grill are located outside of the building on the opposite end of your unit. Timer jet controls are located next to the hot tub rules sign.

There is a closet located in the hallway near the front door with the same entry keypad lock as the condo.  This is the equipment storage closet available to you to store your ski and snowboard equipment.  Please note that we leave our equipment here year-round, but you’re welcome to any extra room available.  Use the same unique access code for condo entry to access the closet.

The fireplace is controlled via the thermostat to the left. Increase the temperature to turn on.

TVs give access to cable channels. Using the spectrum remote turn on the cable box (CBL) first then the TV. Make sure the input is on HDMI 1.

The bus stop to go into town is located in the base area. From your unit exit to the front of the building onto Emmons Road. Cross the road onto the paved walkway. Take the second set of stairs on your right with the evergreens. Down these stairs to your left is the bus stop. Take the bus labeled “TOWN”. This is the Mountaineer Square stop.

Spring & Fall Schedule

In town later than you thought?

LATE NIGHT TOWN TAXI beginning at 10:00pm from town for fare: (970) 209-0509

Laundry is located on the ground floor accessed from the back parking lot. Machines are quarter operation only.

Trash and recycling receptacles are located at the entrance of the upper back parking lot.

Open the windows at night

Because of our high altitude and dry climate, the nights in southern Colorado tend to drop dramatically, typically falling below 60 degrees even in the height of a hot summer.  Opening windows on at least two sides of your house at night will create a cross breeze that will cool the house when the sun is down.

Close blinds during the day

While the sun can be a delightful source of natural light, it also heats your house as it filters through your glass windows. Closing blinds during the day will help to keep your house from getting too hot during the daytime.

To keep our STR license in good standing with the Town of Mount Crested Butte, we’re required to share a few important docs with you:

  • [Self-Compliance-Affidavit]
We’ve signed this to confirm we’re following all town rules for short-term rentals. The town inspects and monitors compliance, and violations could result in fines or license suspension.

  • [Good Neighbor Policy]
This one’s important — it covers things like noise, trash, and parking. Guests are required to follow these rules during their stay. Noncompliance can result in fines or loss of the rental license.

  • [STR License Certificate] Posted in Condo
Proof that our property is officially licensed for short-term rentals.

  • [Emergency Contact Info] 970-349-2449
Who to call if something unexpected comes up during your stay.

Please depart by 10:00 AM unless you’ve received prior approval.

Before you go, kindly:

  • Turn off all lights and appliances

  • Close and lock all windows and doors

That’s it — safe travels and thanks for staying with us!
