Use the wall switch located to the left of the fireplace to turn the gas fireplace on and off.
If the fireplace does not turn on, the internal control switch may have been turned off.
Open the lower access panel at the bottom of the fireplace.

Locate the small switch labeled ON / OFF.

Make sure it is set to ON so the fireplace can respond to the wall switch.
Close the panel and try the wall switch again.
Inside the panel you may see additional knobs, valves, and wiring. These control gas flow and ignition and are factory-set.
👉 Please do not adjust or turn any other knobs or valves, including the gas shutoff. No changes are needed beyond confirming the ON / OFF switch is set to ON.
If the fireplace still isn’t cooperating, just reach out and we’re happy to help get things warmed up.

Open the windows at night
Because of our high altitude and dry climate, the nights in southern Colorado tend to drop dramatically, typically falling below 60 degrees even in the height of a hot summer. Opening windows on at least two sides of your house at night will create a cross breeze that will cool the house when the sun is down.
Close blinds during the day
While the sun can be a delightful source of natural light, it also heats your house as it filters through your glass windows. Closing blinds during the day will help to keep your house from getting too hot during the daytime.
