Cancellation Policies
We know travel plans don’t always go exactly as planned — and a little flexibility goes a long way when booking your mountain getaway.
At Crested Butte Lodging, we keep our policies clear and consistent so you can plan with confidence. For extra peace of mind, we always recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your trip in case something unexpected comes up.
Our goal is simple: make your time in Crested Butte easy, enjoyable, and something you can look forward to from the moment you book.
Current Policies for Vacation Rental Properties
For Stays April 06, 2026– December 17, 2026
Deposit: No deposit is required.
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 48 hours prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations canceled outside 48 hours of arrival do not incur a penalty. Any changes made to a reservation within the 48-hour window are non-refundable and non-changeable.
For Stays December 18, 2026 – January 04, 2027
Deposit: 10% Deposit, non-refundable
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations canceled outside 45 days of arrival are subject to forfeiting the deposit. Any changes made to a reservation within the 45-day window are non-refundable and non-changeable.
For Stays January 05, 2027 – April 04, 2027
Deposit: $49 Deposit, non-refundable
Final Payment: Full and final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Cancellation: Reservations canceled outside 21 days of arrival are subject to forfeiting the deposit. Any changes made to a reservation within the 21-day window are non-refundable and non-changeable.
Future Stay Credit Policy
While we always do our best to support our guests, we are unfortunately unable to extend credits toward future stays.
For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance is the best way to protect your trip investment and recover costs in the event of unexpected changes or disruptions.
